That's strange because 5.1.5 , 5.2.0 and master can open that file just fine here. Please test with the appimage; if that works, it's a gentoo build issue. Okay, it does seem to work with the AppImage That means it's a gentoo build issue -- we cannot solve that. The error message that I get is as follows: Could not open /path/to/file.kra. Reason: Krita does not support this file format. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Download the attachment 2. Open it in Krita OBSERVED RESULT Could not open /path/to/file.kra. Reason: Krita does not support this file format.
