We can only group images whose metadata information is also stored in the database. The Xmp.Group.ID tag is currently not included. Which programs use Xmp.Group.ID? Maik We need more information here and ExifTool does not know an Xmp.Group.ID tag (https://exiftool.org/TagNames/XMP.html). The xmp Xmp.Group would simply one provided as example that I would use. Please see the reproduction steps to better understand the section of digikam configuration this relates to for understanding. Correct, there doesn't seem to be an already existing xmp tag for groups. Xmp.Xmp.Group Xmp.Group.Id Would be suggested. I'm using application exiv2 to assign tags.
