(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: khtml
Version: 4.0 (using KDE 3.0.3 )
Severity: normal
Installed from:
Compiler: gcc version 2.96 20000731 (Red Hat Linux 7.3 2.96-110)
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.4.18-5custom
OS/Compiler notes:

There is no easy way to set Konqueror to ignore author-side suggestions about scrollbar colors and always use the system defaults. This makes many Web sites harder to use because the scrollbar often looks like part of the page. In fact it would be really nice if there was a way to completely turn off processing of the non-standard extensions to HTML and CSS (calling it something like "strict HTML/CSS specification compliance").
