The partition UUID is a part to identify the collection, if it changes due to disk replacement or other, it needs to be updated. Use the update function in the collection settings (circle icon next to the trash). In the best case, just confirm everything once and the UUID will be updated in the DB. Maik Maik,
I rechecked my Collections settings in DK. I added /user/bert/Pictures
to the DK Collections.
Now I have a listing of Albums and a listing of Pictures. The Pictures
folders are accessible from the thumbnail view and I no longer get the
error message that I reported on.
My next question is do I delete the Albums from my original list and if
I do, will that also delete the folders in my local Pictures collection?
I'm a NOOB using the Mac environment, still prefer Kubuntu.
Thanks,
Bert

Maik,
I finally got the correct paths setup for Collections, had to remove a
duplicate entry.
Thanks for your help,
Bert
