Description putt1ck 2023-04-19 08:12:01 UTC
When a new LO window is opened e.g. from a downloaded file, all current LO windows are moved to the same desktop

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. create multiple desktops
2. open LO on one of them
3. switch to another, open browser and download a document
4. once file downloaded, open it in LO

OBSERVED RESULT
All current LO windows are moved to the (wrong) current desktop

EXPECTED RESULT
Only new file should open on current desktop, other active windows should stay put

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSuse Tumbleweed (for some time now)
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.27.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.104.0
Qt Version: 5.15.8

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
My recollection is that sometime in the past the opposite was the case (also non-optimal but somehow more logical) where the new file opened on whichever desktop the last active LO window was located

NB I know this is a duplicate per se, but the existing bug is old and receiving no love https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=412709
