SUMMARY
Letters are missing from text in the GUI. Version 23.07.70 downloaded from: https://binary-factory.kde.org/view/MacOS/job/kdeconnect-kde_Nightly_macos/

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the messaging application

OBSERVED RESULT
Letters are missing.

EXPECTED RESULT
GUI displays normally.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
macOS: Version 13.3 (22E252)

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
KDE Connect is synced with an Android phone running Android 12.

I have the same issue on Windows (see screenshot)

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Microsoft Windows 10 Home (Version: 10.0.19045; Build: 19045)
App version according to MS store: 22.1203.1291.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I installed KDE connect through the Microsoft store.

BOF, a new version was just pushed to the Windows store a few hours ago. Can you update to that and let us know if the same thing is happening? Did this used to work for you or did it recently start happening?

I updated the version to 23.400.1322.0 (MS store)

The letters are back again, some text fields seem to be too small though (red arrows in the screenshots)

As far as I remember this used to work. No idea when this changed, but it was some time ago. I wanted to report it, but never got around to do so.

I did not want to close any report, because I don't know if the bugtracker should have one ticket per OS or not
