I am also using Arch Linux with nvidia. I started experiencing an issue like this after upgrading to either Plasma 5.26 or 5.27. The workaround OP mentioned of restarting plasmashell temporarily fixes it for me only sometimes. At this moment it has not helped, so I will try rebooting. That fact that restarting Plasma fixes it seems very weird to me as the symptoms all point to it being a KWin issue. >That fact that restarting Plasma fixes it seems very weird to me as the symptoms all point to it being a KWin issue.
The clock example where we have some of the buffer points to it not being a kwin issue.
But given things work locally and you have issues with all clients I would suggest we test with a newer nvidia driver before doing anything else.
