I guess this is due to editing an app creates a new .desktop file in ~/.local/share/applications, while Favorites still points to the old location? Confirmed. Only happens on newly favourited apps. The defaults can be edited without any issues. Can reproduce. Restarting plasmashell makes the issue stop happening. *** Bug 466878 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** Still an issue on Plasma 6.
