Could I know why you thought this would fix it? The update updated some kind of package that is relevant for font rendering (could be either of freetype, fontconfig, harfbuzz; not sure) which is known to cause problems for running applications. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open terminal 2. notify-send 'Hello World' kdialog --passivepopup 'text' 5 3. Observe the notification (see attachment) OBSERVED RESULT The notification has unreadable text EXPECTED RESULT I expected to see "Hello World" SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: 6.1.7-arch1-1 KDE Plasma Version: plasmashell 5.26.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.102.0 Qt Version: 5.15.8 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I updated my system (pacman -Syu) I couple days ago and since then every KDE notification that I get (telegram, firefox, etc) is unreadable.
