So you can verify that all affects tracks to have "AC/DC" listed in their artist tags? Are you using the "fast native indexer" or the "scan the filesystem directly" indexer? If you're using the native indexer, can you run `balooshow <file path>` in a terminal window on one of the tracks to see what information the indexer has for it? I wonder if it's out of date. Here is the balooshow for all songs on the album which all show the correct album and band name. I use the fast native indexer in Elisa.
So everything now is as it should be, close this ticket. The biggest issue to report that was behind many of the problems I think was just age, me, the albums, the poor condition of some of the metadata site information, the transition from Windows years ago and the extra metadata tags I picked up over decades. Cleaning, deleting and adding manually fixed everything. Oh good! |
