Notifications inside the tray look fine. Have you rebooted since the update? Looks like a fontconfig/freetype/harfbuzz/etc update that caused this After a reboot it works fine, yes. Though I doubt its a fontconfig/freetype/harfbuzz issue as the rest of the system looks fine. Perhaps a change in the way data is sent to the notification i.e., a change in the protocol? Perhaps something else There was no change in how notifications are handled. It is 100% a font handling issue, I've seen it multiple times and not only in notifications. Not sure whether this is something wrong in Qt or with the font libraries though |
