STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. load up a series of TL images
2. Configure for desired output: BlueRay (1080p) usually
3. Review exported video 

OBSERVED RESULT
output file of 705 x 540 resolution

EXPECTED RESULT
1920 x 1080p

Please download digiKam AppImage 7.9.0, and run Showfoto on the command line using 'showfoto' argument. Now try to export as videslideshow to reproduce the dysfunction.

I think Ubuntu like native package do not compile properly the ffmpeg engine. Here i use Kubuntu and i see others problem with video and audio.

AppImage bundle is compiled with a ffmpeg enabling all the necessary for digiKam.

I can reproduce the problem, we rendering the wrong size BlueRay profile.
