I have also submitted a bug report to the Ubuntu developers as well: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/fwupd/+bug/2001740?comments=all I was told that it was probably an issue with Discover, so I'm reporting it here as well. Ok, that's a system tray icon, not a notification. And if you click it, it will prompt you to reboot, right? Are you saying that after you reboot, it's still there? Yes, once I reboot it's still there. Thanks. After you reboot, do you see an actual notification? Perhaps one about a failed offline update? If not, might thie be because you somehow disabled Discover's notifications or you're in Do Not Disturb mode?
