Hey there! Unfortunately to help we're going to need a bit more information. Some of the most useful stuff you can give would be a crash report, see this link for how to do that: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports The next best thing would be to be as specific as possible. Can you provide a screen cap of the 'create new' screen before the crash? What sort of hardware does your laptop have on it? Personally this sounds like a GPU canvas acceleration problem. Can you go into your Krita settings and find "canvas acceleration" and set it to 'software' and see if the problem persists? Any more information you can provide will be helpful, thanks. Created attachment 154590 [details] image.png Well, the program looks like this before going to crash [image: image.png] And then I going to do the new Canva and I put the information [image: image.png] But when I click on "create", the button going to gray like this [image: image.png] And then the program closes [image: image.png] But I'll check the Krita preferences and change the settings to see if I can fix the problem! Thanks for your comment! Automatically switching the status of this bug to REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to get confirmed. In the future you may also do this yourself when providing needed information. Alrighty, I'm not seeing anything so far that would cause a crash under normal circumstances, and I can't seem to reproduce it on my end. In Krita, can you go to Help > Show Krita Log and then click 'save to file' and upload that? Did turning off 'Canvas Graphics Acceleration' in Settings > Configure > Display help? Created attachment 154610 [details] attachment-15231-0.html Oh well, I already change the Krita settings on the Krita preferences and the program doesn't crash anymore when I create the new canva. But thank you for the help! If you think this bug should be looked further into, be sure to reopen this bug and include that Krita log file so that we can find out what exactly is going wrong with the graphics acceleration.
