Description genghiskhan 2022-12-11 07:25:49 UTC
Created attachment 154489 [details]
search row is wider than Falkon itself

Limit the search row (of address bar) and search menu to Falkon or display.

It is limited, the problem could be that the Search Engine buttons are always displayed in a single line and when there is a lot of them it can break things.

I guess that is the case.

I apologies. I've mixed two issues in one report.

Expand addressbar dropdown menu to window fit and don't gain focus.

> Expand addressbar dropdown menu to window fit
Useful for handheld devices with narrow display.

> Don't gain focus
Useful when using virtual/touch keyboard (otherwise, user has to click/tap twice to type the next character.

Hello,

Fix for this landed in Falkon master branch. (as title says:
Expand addressbar dropdown menu to window fit)
https://invent.kde.org/network/falkon/-/commit/d455ccd1934478b66ff523db79319be4d43e6335

There is another bug open for the better placement of the search engine icons:

Best regards,
Juraj
