Don't know, wher else I could report this... The problem has been reported many times. digiKam uses the EXIF original camera date from the file. Under Windows, the metadata may not have been read in correctly. The cause is unknown until now and also cannot be reproduced. We suspect that the images were blocked by other Windows programs during the import (Explorer, Virus scanner, etc.). We hope that digiKam-8.0.0 fixes the problem with changes to the import process. Perform a reread of the metadata from the images, item menu or album menu or maintenance tool.
