How this button works in Windows terminal for example
I've attached video and photo to show what i want to have in konsole.
If you have the toolbar visible, there's an icon that shows the profiles that you can click on. I think that is what you want. (In reply to Kurt Hindenburg from comment #3) > If you have the toolbar visible, there's an icon that shows the profiles > that you can click on. I think that is what you want. Where does this icon located? Use menu Settings->Toolbars Shown->Main and then the far left icon should be what you want. (In reply to Kurt Hindenburg from comment #5) > Use menu Settings->Toolbars Shown->Main and then the far left icon should > be what you want. Ah, this button, this button is almost fine, the only problem that it requires pressing RMB instead of LMB, and pressing on profile with alt/shift pressed will not open it in split-view/new window. (In reply to soredake from comment #6) > this button is almost fine, the only problem that it > requires pressing RMB instead of LMB Long-press LMB will open the profile menu. This is consistent with other applications having multi-function buttons, e.g. KMail "Check Mail" and "Reply". Adding a separate button with alternate functional paradigm seems contradictory to me. >and pressing on profile with alt/shift pressed will not open it in split-view/new window Do you have other applications that do similar actions? It seems a bit weird if one application behaves a certain way and others do not. |
