As it turns out, this bug not only happens after unlocking but after screen wakes up too. Cannot reproduce on Wayland. While I cannot reproduce this bug in the context of just locking the screen, I see something very similar after waking up from suspend: My autohiding panel appears and stays raised until I hover it for one time with the mouse (doesn't seem to matter if screen locking is active or not) . I can reproduce this with pristine user accounts under: * Kubuntu 22.10 + Plasma 5.27 Beta, Wayland * Neon unstable, Wayland To test it, it is sufficient to enable auto-hide on KDE's default bottom panel, suspend the machine, and wake it up again. It does not happen under X11. Jan, that's a separate issue; please submit a different bug report for it. Still cannot reproduce tihs issuein a Plasma Wayland session, this time on Plasma 6. Can you still reproduce it in Plasma 5.27? gudvinr+kde@gmail.com, are you able to reproduce this issue in Plasma 5.27 by locking the screen manually with Meta+L and then unlocking? I.e. without putting the system to sleep at all. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days. Please provide the requested information as soon as possible and set the bug status as REPORTED. Due to regular bug tracker maintenance, if the bug is still in NEEDSINFO status with no change in 30 days the bug will be closed as RESOLVED > WORKSFORME due to lack of needed information. For more information about our bug triaging procedures please read the wiki located here: https://community.kde.org/Guidelines_and_HOWTOs/Bug_triaging If you have already provided the requested information, please mark the bug as REPORTED so that the KDE team knows that the bug is ready to be confirmed. Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone! Can't reproduce it since I don't daily drive wayland anymore. I guess issue can be closed and reopened if someone (myself included) will experience it in the future. Ok, feel free to re-open this if and when you encounter the issue on Wayland again. |
