(*** This bug was imported into bugs.kde.org ***)

Package: kmail
Version: KMail 1.4 (Using KDE 3.0.0) (using KDE 3.0.0 )
Severity: normal
Installed from: SuSE RPMs
Compiler: gcc 2.95.3
OS: Linux
OS/Compiler notes: Kernel 2.4.16

When connecting via SSL to a pop server kmail
complains that
"The IP address of the host pop3.nexgo.de does not match the one the certificate was issued to."
That's probably true However when I'm asked
if I'd "like to accept this certificate forever without being prompted?" i check "forever" but in
the next KMail session I'm prompted again.
The bug database says - among other things - the bug (#33605) is fixed in KDE 2.2.2.
Well...
