The font I am trying to use is called "Cool Jazz" Screenshort - Visualisation of the issue. |
You are using a proportional font, while a terminal emulator needs a monospace font. On the master branch, this is handled a bit differently, but It is still very much advised to use monochrome. I have the exact same issue with a different font "Cool Jazz". Created attachment 170862 [details]

Screenshort - Visualisation of the issue.
Please add support for fonts outside monospace.

There is (some) support. You need to disable word mode. (In reply to Matan Ziv-Av from comment #5) > There is (some) support. You need to disable word mode. Thank you sir. Created attachment 152224 [details] Issue screenshot. When I type my command in, There is a weird space between the text which I type and the white square cursor marking on which letter I am at the moment of writing the command. It really isn't that big of an issue, as all commands still work, but can get a bit confusing from time to time. Below is a screenshot of set issue (no I did not enter any spaces, the empty area just appears on it's own and gets larger gradually as I type in the command)
