SUMMARY

When using remote input plugin on android app to control desktop, a keyboard icon is present on top right that launches the android's keyboard when clicked. Then that keyboard could be used to sent relevant input to desktop. The button is not appearing in any of my devices with android 11 or 12

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set up kdeconnect on android device and linux PC
2. Connect them both via kdeconnect
3. Launch remote input plugin on android

OBSERVED RESULT
No keyboard icon present to launch keybaord

EXPECTED RESULT
Keyboard icon that launches android's keyboard which can then be used to type directly on desktop

I am experiencing this too, it seems impossible to send keyboard input.

Remote keyboard input is not available on Linux Wayland. That's why the button is hidden.
