To date, the G'MIC component has never included GUI support for macOS. Please report this bug to https://github.com/GreycLab/gmic. G'MIC display on Mac can be only achieved by using the X11 library, which is not installed by default on Mac. I'm not that surprised that the plug-in compiled on Mac does not allow filters that require interactive display windows. It is the responsibility of whoever compiles the plug-in on the Mac to enable or disable X11 display support. (In reply to David Tschumperlé from comment #2) > G'MIC display on Mac can be only achieved by using the X11 library, which is > not installed by default on Mac. I don't even remotely touch XQuartz, so it means someone has to implement a Cocoa event loop for CImg, right? Yes that would be one good solution indeed. Quite a lot of work though. |
