Can reproduce, interesting. Yes, this happens because it is not Vault that closes the mount, but the system shutdown. Fixing this would require Vault to store the 'network is disabled due to Vault' somewhere on the drive - to know that it should enable the network on next boot. This affected me too, but now, after updating to Kubuntu 24.04.3 LTS there is a different behaviour: Now the widget (and the dolphin-entry of the vault) doens't represent the status of the tresore. Even if the vault has been opened there is no switch/button/context-menue-entry for closing it. Also a rebooting of the machine doesn't change the status of the vault: it stays open and the network-connection isn't deactivated.
