Oh my goodness. Any chance you could upgrade to Plasma 5.25 where we think we fixed a lot of the bizarritude that would cause this kind of thing, and see if it's fixed there? I'm using the Kubuntu backports PPA, but it looks like there isn't any availability of Plasma 5.25 yet, even in the beta PPAs (which seem to be using 5.24.90). I want to help troubleshoot the issue as much as I can, but due to work and uni commitments I'm unwilling to spend time installing an entirely different distro to test if it is fixed, since installing all the tools I need to work is extremely time consuming. if you run `kscreen-doctor -o` in a terminal window, does it report that the screens are overlapping--even by one pixel? You'll need to compare their "geometry" values. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been in NEEDSINFO status with no change for at least 15 days.
