Virtual desktops aren't per-monitor, so you don't need to drop the window onto a desktop in the bar on the other monitor; just drop it into the main area on that monitor. Does that work? Does that work? Sure it works. But I don't understand why it would work differently depending on if I cross monitor borders with my mouse or not. As I described above, I want to move monitor and workspace at the same time.
