What kind of hardware do you have where performance is such an issue that this effect was better? Sure, it is old, but it is far from a rare occurrence in the linux community these days. The effect on resizing windows really is noticeable performance wise, especially on "heavier" apps like Intellij IDEA. This was an intentional change that we don't intend to bring back. |
