SUMMARY
Floating panel spacer parent item has background effects and a border.


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Set panel to floating mode
2. Observe the background around the panel 

OBSERVED RESULT
The parent item for the floating panel has a border and background effects (shade, etc.)

EXPECTED RESULT
It shouldn't have those effects.

Floating panel with blur and shadow around it


Same issue here, floating panels display a partially blurry outline with a drop shadow.

The root cause for this is ultimately the same as Bug 438644. It will be fixed with https://invent.kde.org/frameworks/plasma-framework/-/merge_requests/522.
