Thanks for your feedback. Do I understand correctly that with "Linux Mint 20.3" 'sudo apt install okteta' you got the version 0.26.3? > when i try to open a file nothing happens. You tried to open a file via the menu entry or the toolbar? Sounds like you hit bug 441802, too bad Qt still does not have that fixed. When it comes to no double byte support in the char table, different issue, interest for it though noted.
