Snap packages use a sandbox and are unusable for use with digiKam. Try configuring the sandbox rights. Say thank you to Ubuntu. We no longer support Snap or Flatpak due to a variety of bugs. Maik The current developer AppImage digiKam-7.7.0 also runs under the current Ubuntu version. https://files.kde.org/digikam/ Maik Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately libfuse2 is no longer in Ubuntu 22.04 so no Appimages currently run.. The snap for digikam in the store appears to be "official" and supported by KDE. It even leads to KDE webpages under "contact the publisher" - here: https://snapcraft.io/publisher/kde Digikam is great software. Thanks for your efforts and time to respond. Just one example, that project "Kate" has already also withdrawn from Flatpak. For the problematic with Hugin see Bug 453817, I hope Debian has fuse packages too. Maik |
