SUMMARY

The background color of Gwenview is always white and cannot be changed to another color.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. start Gwenview
2. view image
3. try to change background color

OBSERVED RESULT

The background color will always stay white. Even if in the file gwenviewrc it says otherwise. 


EXPECTED RESULT

If I try to change the background color this change should be applied.

Can reproduce. Changing the color scheme from either the menubar or the context menu results in BackgroundColorMode not being updated in the gwenviewrc file. Mine appears permanently stuck on `BackgroundColorMode=DocumentView::Neutral`

Probably related to the UI overhaul that removed the background color chooser from the status bar. Noah, could you take a look?

In Gear 22.08 this isn't fixed.

Turnes out that you can choose a background color in Gwenview but that the option has moved to the "View" menu. In this menu there is the option that, for a short time, lived in the status bar of Gwenview. And it works too.
