SUMMARY
Every time i try to launch Kdenlive, it crashes. I have many ideapad L340 (Ryzen 5 3500U) and it exactly does the same on each one. of them. It happend on a previous version but deleting the appdata was fixing it but not anymore.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install the latest version 24.04.0
2. Tried to launch

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10 21h1

Can you try to start Kdenlive as administrator?

I did and nothing changed

Do users have the right to read/write to all this folders: https://docs.kdenlive.org/de/getting_started/installation.html#kdenlive-in-a-windows-domain ?

Yeah except two of the don't exist : %LocalAppData%\kxmlgui5\kdenlivekdenliveui.rc and %LocalAppData%\knewstuff3

 Mmh. And when you delete the complete Kdenlive folder "C:\Program Files\kdenlive" and re-install Kdenlive? Does it still crash?

Deleting the folder fixed it. Thanks a lot !
