I have the same issue. The since the latest major update today, the touchpad does no longer work. Mouse input thankfully works, but I usually use my touchpad on the go so a mouse is no option there. For me it's not Wayloand, but X11 Operating System: KDE neon 5.24 KDE Plasma Version: 5.24.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.93.0 Qt Version: 5.15.3 Kernel Version: 5.13.0-40-generic (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11 Processors: 16 × AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics Memory: 30.8 GiB of RAM Graphics Processor: AMD RENOIR Do you have libinput installed? I tested the issue on a live USB with Ubuntu 22.10. I sometimes get the same error. After restart KDE neon I got the same issue. It does not work most of the time, and for a short moment the touchpad works (scrolling, clicking, tab to click, etc.). After I wrote a few words in here, the touchpad is gone again. So it *might* be my PC, but since it's rather new and the touchpad showed no sign of 'dying' I don't think so. Is there any diagnostic tool that shows touchpad inputs like there is for the game controler in the KDE settings app? Some more weirdness: The touchpad does not work. I keep moving my fingers across the touchpad. All the sudden the mouse starts moving. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #2) > Do you have libinput installed? I do have `libinput` installed. It it stops working (hopefully not) I'll create a new bug report with it. Same issue here for me. It began in 5.24.4 and still happens in 5.25. I've had to use the X11 session as a workaround.

Is this still a problem for you with the current Plasma 6.1.3?
