Have you found that it was ever not configured properly? We try to avoid adding input device configuration unless there is a problem or some information that the user genuinely needs to provide. Otherwise I can imagine it being quite annoying if you see a popup every single time you plug in a pair of headphones. Yes, we I plug a headset, the output is correctly configured to the headset, but not the input (the microphone), which stays set on the laptop microphone. So I have to set that each time I plug a headset. It is OK when you have figured it out, but the first time, when you are in a hurry for your next visio meeting, it is disturbing. I use Debian testing with Plasma 5.24.3. Ok, thanks. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 424273 *** |
