You haven't attached an image. If you do this with a painted object on a transparent layer, the result may not be what you wanted. Try this with an image on a solidly painted background. Created attachment 147583 [details]

Sorry, I thought I did attach the image. It should be attached now. * I'm not clear on what you mean with the filter tab? There's a filter menu that contains six different emboss filters.
