"Smoothly fade to desktop when logging in" effect does not work when logging in after session lock or wake from suspend.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Log in to load desktop.
2.

OBSERVED RESULT
Desktop pops up with no smooth transition from the SDDM screen.

EXPECTED RESULT
Desktop is supposed to fade in.

I had to reissue the bug because I waited for a whole week with no response.
