I would like to add that sometimes the audio output will not be recognized on X11 session login. I have to turn off and on the screen for it to be recognized. However, it is never recognized in the Wayland session. Note that for HDA NVidia GA104 High Definition Audio Controller the current profile is set to "Off". If you change that to "Digital Stereo (HDMI 3) Output" in the system setting do you get your audio outputs? Sorry if that should've been obvious, I didnt think different sessions will have different audio configurations. When you reboot the system, does it stay that way or is it set to Off again?
