SUMMARY
after update to plasma 5.24.0, Battery & Brightness widget is no more displayed. 


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. with plasma 5.23.5 in systray settings, force displaying Battery & Brightness widget 
2. update to 5.24.0
3. restart the PC 

OBSERVED RESULT

Battery & Brightness widget is no more displayed

EXPECTED RESULT

Battery & Brightness widget is more displayed

Could be Bug 422111.

1. Do you have a laptop with batteries?
2. When you add the applet manually as a separate widget, does the widget say, "No batteries available"? Can you attach a screenshot of how it looks?
3. Does it appear again if you manually restart plasmashell with `plasmashell --replace` in a terminal window?

No it is a desktop.
I use this widget displayed in the systray bar, because sometime randomly "lock screen" and "screen saver" features are not disabled when viewing a video. thus I can access easily with kdeconnect remote control to this wiget for disable "lock screen" and "screen saver" features"

The separate applet says nothing. See the capture.

Yes
when overing it there is a buble saying "No batteries available

In that screenshot, everything looks fine to me. Can you clarify what the bug is?

Fixed by executing "plasmashell --replace"
