This error message is intentional and based on bug reports we have received. It makes no sense to import images from the collection path . digiKam will scan all the images in your collection, it will take some time on first launch, you will see the progress in the status bar. Maik Another explanation. digiKam does not copy images into the database, only selected metadata. Your images stay in the path where they are. If you wanted to import images from the collection path , it would overwrite the same images again. Until all the images in your collection are scanned on first launch, they will not appear in digiKam. Maik |
