Middle-click on the volume icon in the system tray (the speaker symbol)? are you unable to mute notifications in Audio module of System Settings? What do you mean exactly? Are you saying that there is no option to mute system notification sounds? Or that the option does not work for you when you use it?

Where should I search it? There's no such option in System Settings. Fast search on Google shows that many people doesn't find it too. Please tell me where it is. Thanks :) It's on the "Audio" page, as my screenshot shows. Oh, I didn't notice the attachment, I'm sorry. Last time I checked it wasn't there, may be some update was brought it back. Thank you :) Oh good. :) Is there a way to disable the "volume change" sound? I've already muted the notification sound. That should also mute the "volume changed" sound. Does it not? Changing the volume manually (without the keyboard keys) still leaves the first volume change by keyboard muted. Seems like a bug. Can you file a new bug report for it? This one is about something else. |
