If you press shift+alt+F12 or restart KWin (kwin_x11 --replace) after that happens, does the issue go away? Yes, I just tried pressing Shift+Alt+F12 and the issue indeed goes away. The fonts in the window borders are still a bit garbled up, but when I enter kwin --replace afterwards, everything is back to normal. Thank you, now I don't have to restart everytime with all of my windows opened. I think this is a critical bug though. Any ideas which packages could be involved? I would be happy to try out some things or provide logs. If Xorg crashes, the issue might be elsewhere. Can you report this issue to Xorg developers please? Technically, the X-server doesn't crash, it is only kwin that creates the glitches. I just wasn't very precise/sure about the naming of the issue. Changes were made for Plasma 5.26, please confirm if the issue remains |
