Right click on email -> create event or create note etc. ... or, in KMail, use menu item Message > Create Event. ... or, in Kontact, drag the mail message to the Calendar icon in the sidebar. I'm sorry, in my implementation kontact/kmail doesn't have these functions. I have openSUSE 15.3 : kmail-20.04.2-bp153.3.2.1.x86_64 I can only create task, and if I drag the message under calendar it creates a entry in calendar but with only akonadi:?item=1363227&type=message/rfc822&parent=34 or similar as subject. Probably I have only to wait new packages... Look at kmail->configure->plugin => activate it if disabled. Regards Created attachment 145372 [details]

This is the message contextual menu even with the plugin enabled. The strange thing is that in the contextual menu I had "add followup reminder..." even with this option disabled. And Yes I restarted kmail (and akonadi)

This particular problem should be fixed in version 5.19.0 (21.12.0). See bug 404588. (In reply to Diego Ercolani from comment #6) > This is the message contextual menu even with the plugin enabled. The > strange thing is that in the contextual menu I had "add followup > reminder..." even with this option disabled. And Yes I restarted kmail (and > akonadi) Using version 5.19.1, the "Create Event/Task/Note" context menu items appear and disappear correctly when I toggle the plugin settings. However ... when I first tested this, the menu items were present even though the plugin settings were unchecked! |
