SUMMARY
Gwenview crashes when attempting to start cropping an image. This happens in all ways I'm aware of to crop an image in Gwenview: Shift+C, the Editing Tools side panel, and the Crop option from the "Edit" menu. Running Gwenview from the terminal, the following new output is generated when the window closes (the last line takes about 5 seconds to appear):

I'm not sure when this issue started occurring, but I remember it working fine in Plasma version <= 5.23.2.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open an image with Gwenview
2. Attempt to crop

OBSERVED RESULT
Gwenview crashes when trying to crop an image.


EXPECTED RESULT
Gwenview begins cropping like in previous versions.

Linux/KDE Plasma: 5.15.12-arch1-1 (64bit)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.23.5 (Wayland)
KDE Frameworks Version: 
Qt Version: 5.89.0

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Unsure if this affects X11, I have only tested on Wayland.

This still occurs in Plasma 5.23.90.

This appears to be fixed in Plasma 5.24.5 and 5.24.90

This is fixed in the Plasma 5.26 Beta.

Thanks for your report. This bug might been fixed. Could you verify again in more recent software like Gwenview 24.12.2?
