SUMMARY
Until recently I was able to download photos from my Panasonic TZ70, which digikam identifies as a Memory Stick Reader.
But then it started reporting "Failed to download" for every image attempted.
I updated to 7.4.0 but the problem has persisted.

Hi,

There is probably a right access to removable device to turn on under Windows.

I see in the instructions to the camera that 2 USB modes are present. Which do you have the camera set (PTP or PC)? Is the camera displayed in Windows Explorer as a drive with drive letters?

It's set to PC and Windows displays it with a drive letter (e.g. E:)
