(In reply to Nate Graham from comment #5) > Is this still happening with newer software? I don't have that device anymore, but I haven't noticed it for a long time on other devices. Unfortunately it didn't disappear, it's happening again with another device.
Sometimes a few times a day, sometimes every couple mintues I get:
1. Notification about the network being disonnected
2. Notification about "The authenticator agent has time out."
3. Popup with "Wrong password, enter a new password."
4. Then I enter my password and it works again for a while.
Since the first time I reported it I also changed routers.

Can you do a bit of troubleshooting to try to narrow this down? e.g.: - Try in a new clean user account on the same computer - Try verifying that the router settings are sane - Try verifying that it isn't a weak connection, by moving the laptop right next to the router - Try verifying that no metal parts are touching the wifi antennas on the computer - Try switching out the Wi-Fi card for another one, if you have one handy (this solved a similar problem for me a few months ago) Otherwise there's likely nothing we can do to figure out what's going on here. (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #9) > - Try verifying that it isn't a weak connection, by moving the laptop right > next to the router Now it might just be that because I was further away. when I first reported it with the other device the router+laptop were right next to each other. |
