Current workaround: Make the external program a filter action then make it add an "x-myproggy-matched: yes/no" header to each mail then filter on that header instead. It has a link to a mini how-to about configuring an external filter program for piping through messages, even on imap servers. It could be similar to your needs and with some modification you could accomplish them. Regards Andre Felipe In KMail 1.7 there will be support for anti-spam and anti-virus programs. They can filter messages to seperate folders and basicly exactly what you wish for, except for the fact that running a program as a filter criteria is not possible in KMail 1.7 / KDE 3.3. If all voters have voted for this wish because of the ability to use a spam program, then this wish can be closed now. I think it will be a good idea to leave this option open. It will be useful to have a filter that pipes the message to an external program and receives return value or error code from it. It will have uses more than just spam-filters e.g. sorting complex survey forms. Thank you for your feature request. Kmail1 is currently unmaintained so we are closing all wishes. Please feel free to reopen a feature request for Kmail2 if it has not already been implemented. Thank you for your understanding. Instead of creating a new feature request, please confirm here if the wishlist is still valid for kmail2. |
