Alacritty issue is already fixed; see Bug 445444. Does it affect other windows besides Alacritty? Does the problem go away if you change the window placement mode to something different, like "Centered? The positioning issue is solved in Plasma 5.24 by setting the window positioning to "Centered" by default. Created attachment 143992 [details]

Stop re-opening the bug report. I already gave you information that: - The issue in Alacritty has already been fixed in the next KWin bugfix version - The issue with window positioning is intentional when you're using the Smart placement, and the default placement has already been changed to Centered in the next major KWin version. |
