Description Bill Coady 2021-10-26 15:47:23 UTC
SUMMARY
I am using KDE Neon 23.1. I have the browser integration package installed on my system and the 1.8.1 extension on the Brave browser, but they are not talking to each other. I assume it is probably an issue of where the files are stored.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install Brave browser
2. Install extension
3. Try integration activity (For example find a tab with KRunner)

OBSERVED RESULT
Integration does not work, nothing happens

EXPECTED RESULT
Krunner to find tab, etc.

Can't reproduce with Brave from the Deb repository using "Version 1.31.87 Chromium: 95.0.4638.54 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit)", p-b-i is working fine.

Mine is installed from the Snap, which at the time they recommended. I'll fire up my terminal and install via the depository as suggested on their webpage. Thanks for the quick response. I'll post results after installation.

Ah, yeah, Snap is not supported.
