After a while of sending and receiving responses to an email (-thread) kmail freezes on composing the next response.

When it unfreezes and I change the content (e.g. just type "hello") it freezes again.
I dont know how to figure out what exactly makes kmail freeze

I already disabled spell checking and removed pictures. I also switched rich text to off.

The mail is approx 4.5 k raw source lines long
