Steps to reproduce this bug

SUMMARY
After being in a second level navigation, doing a search can make an empty navigation panel.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Click on Appearance 
2. Open any second level settings
3. Search for another settings

OBSERVED RESULT
An empty panel is created between the navigation and the settings.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I can reproduce this bug each time by following the same steps as in the video.

Can reproduce. Requires the window to be either maximized, or at least big enough to show the subcategory view at the same time as the main category view.

This appears to have been fixed with the fix for Bug 453543!
