Video games usually block compositing, which disables drop shadows drawn by kwin. You can force compositing in the compositor settings by unchecking "Allow applications to block compositing", but it can worsen performance. This issue is not present on Wayland, but since you have an NVIDIA GPU, you're going to encounter other issues. |
